Autumn Leaves Yenne Lee Sheet Music Pdf
Hi all,I've been studying classical guitar for 5 months and working solely on Frederick Noad's 'Solo Guitar Playing' book. I finished first 21 chapters and my last piece was Etude in B Minor by Fernando Sor. I can play the song up to its tempo without mistakes but this doesn't mean perfection, I know. It just satisfies my own demands at this stage. My first ultimate goal is to play 'Learning Autumn Leaves' song with Yenne Lee's arrangement. Song can be seen here. Since I cannot estimate how hard a piece can be from the looks of it after being only 5 months into classical guitar with almost no prior experience on guitars, I need your experienced opinions on this. Is this a possibility for me at this stage?

Should I go for it and if I do, what would be the estimated time for me to play it kind of smooth, not totally perfect? Etude in B Minor is just a 2 page etude and took a week off of me. God eater 2 rage burst.
The sheet of autumn leaves is 13 pages/200 measures at total. It's a great jazz standard that can sometimes be tough to handle coming from the strictly classical aspect. FWIW - It's one of the 1st tunes that are taught to student who want to play jazz guitar.I bought that arrangement from her a while ago & it is indeed a lengthy arrangement. (I ended up stealing bits of her arrangement and added it to what I was already playing in that tune)My humble suggestion is to search out YouTube and watch simpler versions to get a feel for it & then work on this arrangement along with some of your other classical arrangements. (Jazz guitar player Jens Larsen has a fairly easy chord melody version posted there).

The only downside for me was that my first instinct was to burn my guitar. (Ha ha)To jump ahead a bit, her arrangement is perfectly laid out and after working with it for a while, I have a growing confidence that I CAN play this piece in its entirety.I was pleased to see she made her complete arrangement available.
Autumn Leaves - Yenne Lee Guitar Tab Pdf
Initially (it would appear) she offered it on her own website but then switched distribution to Music notes. If you order from there, you can play it on the Musicnotes player which is an absolute piece of junk (no fault of the artist). But on to the review of her PDF arrangement, it is brilliant. It is most helpful that all the chords she uses are listed at the top of the score in (more or less) the order in which she plays them in the song.As I mentioned above, although Im not all the way through it yet, I am absolutely sure I will get this piece under my fingers. All thanks to her brilliantly laid out arrangement. In a piece such as this one, it is vitally important for the chords to be accurate fingerings of what is being played, as the majority of the notes being played come directly from the chords.
In this regard, she does not disappoint.I wish all arrangements (especially those containing guitar tabs) were so complete and comprehensive as this one. Many thanks to Yenne Lee!
