Yeah, I'm a bit late to the party. The day before yesterday, I familiarized myself with the latest flavor of SPECIAL and powergamed the hell out of it, practically drooling with anticipation. Yesterday I loaded up F:NV, thrilled at the opening cutscene, entered my name, saw my face and instantly quit the game in disgust.It's weird. I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and Oblivion-with-guns without feeling the need to get one of those 'better faces' mods. But something about this one set me off. Maybe it's just the remarkably human-oid fellow you wake up next to, but New Vegas seems to be presenting you with the ugliest mug to date.So! I've seen that people around here have sported some pretty crazy appearance mods for the oblivion engine from time to time.
Please, assist my quest for a face that will not give a radscorpion a heart attack. I don't care if its finicky mods that don't like playing nice together, precise instructions for millions of little sliders, arcane console commands, or all of the above mixed together in an unholy brew. Just as long as poor Angular McLumpyface has her suffering eased.(A hairstyle that wasn't carved out of a block of wood would be nice too, but optional).
